Bluetooth Notes

Private notes for enabling powered speakers with bluetooth to stream music from a laptop:

The transmitter: I use the Bolse® Bluetooth 4.0 dongle as a transmitter when I am not using my phone (which has bluetooth built in.)

Receiver: I love the Avantree Saturn Wireless Bluetooth Audio Adapter - Receiver and Transmitter, which can be connected to a powered speaker via 3.5MM or RCA jacks (included). You will need a wall charger like this one.
